Undrgrnd Futbol is a local pickup soccer app that enables to bring the football community together, by helping them socialize, organize, and have fun. Football event managers who want to conduct the football match create a group and add the required details like group name, location, and description with a photo.
Once the group is created, the event manager creates a pickup with the details like pickup name, type of event(social, league, tournament, pickup), location, day-date-time, charges if any, and attendance limit.
When the pickup is created, football players who have downloaded this app get the notification of pickup created. Those football players who are interested in playing the match click on the let’s play button to join the match.
This application even has a back-end panel from where the admin can know the number of groups created, pickup created, and active football players and can even manage the payment and refund process. Since this app is available only in the USA, any football player or football pickup organizer can download this app residing in the USA.
Our client resides in the USA, Newyork and is one of the best soccer players as well as the football event handler in town. Whenever he host any football event, it was challenging to get enough people for pickup games and have to manually manage the players.
So, he thought of developing a platform where he could build a local community of football players. The client was sure about his idea and wanted to convert it into reality. He decided to contact a company that has experience in designing and developing custom mobile solutions.
He went on Upwork to find a leading mobile app development company and found us. Since we have a 99% success ratio on Upwork, he approached us with his idea. The client also checked our portfolios which gave him the confidence to work with us.
The client contacted us with the specific features to integrate. We understood his requirements and validated the idea to build a local football event management app. We gave him a work breakdown structure to understand the work required and the potential risks involved. We even provided SRS to get a detailed overview of the project.
We developed this mobile application using Flutter technology. With this iOS and Android app, the users create a group with the group name, location name, description, and photo. Through this platform, the user who is searching for the group or the field to play the game can easily get the information.
A single group owner can create multiple pickups and can add any number of football players depending on the needs. When the pickup is created, the app notifies all the football players to join the event. We have even provided the option of event announcement (300 words limitation), just in case the group owner wants to notify anything regarding the football match. We have even integrated Stripe and Apple Pay for hassle-free payments.
Apart from this, we even developed a user-friendly admin panel in Laravel. This backend panel provided the complete details of the users, groups, and pickups. In just a few clicks, the admin could collect the necessary information. The entire iOS app development was completed within 3 months
We won’t say that the development process was smoother because this was our first mobile app solution developed in Flutter. Apart from this, the client had his design ready, but there were many gaps in terms of navigation, font size, and UI elements. So after many change requests, we had to design the whole mobile app from scratch.
We took more time but we were able to deliver the exactly what client wanted. The entire Flutter app development was completed within 5 months. This was possible as the developers did not face any major challenges.
Get the exact location of the pickups on the map. The users just have to select the convenient place and the app will provide the exact location of the pickup in real-time map view.
Create a group and access the entire network to increase the number of football players. Any football player interested in playing the football game can join the group.
Creates a pickup with day/date/time and location and enables the other team player to join easily. Football players with a convenient day/date/time/price can join the pickup by clicking on ‘Let’s play’.
Send a notification when any user creates a pickup or announces anything after creating a pickup. This saves time and effort as event managers can get rid of connecting with everyone.
View the list of pickups and groups along with its details such as pickup name, image, pickup date & time, experience level, hostname, and the number of attendees.
Enables to create a profile with the picture, bio, position, and footed preference. Putting a face to a name helps build trust and accountability, and makes it easier for others players to check the profile.
Remove a fake user from the group posting unauthorized matches. Admin can check the football matches scheduled, the profile of players attending the football matches, and from which city it is uploaded.
Provides a visual representation of the entire groups, userbase, completed pickups, total earnings, and commission earned.
Admin can manage the entire content on the application. Admin can update the terms and conditions, help center, and feedback.
This app keeps a track of where friends are playing and helps to meet new competitors and make new soccer friends. The app is dedicated to all football game lovers.
Plan, organize, and manage resources in a systematic manner to create a successful event. This makes events much easier to organize than manually managing and organizing separately.
This app lets you easily search the local games in nearby areas. The football player can view the nearby pick-up list with the picture, pickup name, time, date, location, and hostname.
